DESCRIPTION:The Social Golf Association’s mission is to offer exceptional golf experiences enriched with legacy\, financial literacy\, and community bridging together golfers of all abilities\, on and off the golf course\, and making an impact personally and professionally on all those who participate. We invite you to join our mission at our inaugural golf tournament and support the vision to bring an unmatched golf experience to fruition\, right here in the District of Columbia. This tournament will feature all that you would expect from a scramble golf tournament including in-round competitions\, player gifts\, and a post-round buffet\, along with the SGA twist to include a DJ station\, live scoring and fun challenges throughout the round.  And\, as we like to party with a purpose in D.C.\, a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation to support scholarships\, fellowships\, and internships. Additionally\, we will be hosting a golf items drive where we will accept used golf clubs and lightly worn golf clothing to donate to the First Tee program.
